One of my favourite styles of design – Swiss. I love Swiss design because what makes it so clean and modern, is its simplicity. It says so little while saying so much. I can never get enough tightly kerned fonts such as Helvetica or Futura.
This poster is my take on some Josef Muller-Brockmann work. The assignment was to create a Swiss design style poster using grids, sans-serif fonts, and minimal techniques. The poster had to be for the program I’m in (New Media Production and Design).
I chose to add the pink keyboard because, at the time of making the poster, I didn’t feel comfortable with all the white space. So I quickly snapped a picture of the keyboard I was working on, threw it into Photoshop, and added it into my poster.
