The Rap Game was a short documentary film, where we sat down with multi-million dollar rapper, “Big Money”, to discuss his thoughts on the hip-hop industry.
This was an interview-based documentary where we had to include b-roll footage to support the interview, titles, credits, and more.
The Rap Game was my first attempt at using a green screen. Unfortunately, we made the rookie mistake of sitting too close to the screen, resulting in some bad keying. Lesson learned! That being said, I learned a lot about the technique of green screening, and I can’t wait to utilize the skill more.
In addition to the shooting and editing, the background music track was also produced by me. I made the track using GarageBand.
